The most special interpretation of the subject of the expo was made by Japan. Beside a really interesting pavillon they showed with enthusiasm their relation to the oceans and to the fish.

They proudly told about the diligence and the effectivity of their fishing fleet, and about the enthusiasm on fishdish in any form.
Inside the portuguese pavilion with the large hanging roof beyond others had been showed a film about the evolution of trade of the "long noses" with Japan. In this film the idea of "long noses" was also visuel translated.
